Ed is Senior Vice President of Global Gaming Development for MGM Resorts International and he leads the company’s global gaming development efforts.
Recently Ed has managed the Company’s efforts in a number of Asian and North American jurisdictions, including South Korea, Japan, Ontario, Massachusetts and Maryland. In December 2013 the Company won Maryland’s sixth license to develop MGM National Harbor in Prince George’s County, near Washington DC.
Since joining MGM Resorts in February 2003, Ed has been actively involved in gaming development efforts in the United Kingdom, Singapore, Macau, Vietnam, Atlantic City, New York and Florida. In addition, Ed has been responsible for evaluating numerous other opportunities in a variety of international and U.S. jurisdictions.

Ed started his career with Arthur Andersen’s audit practice in Cambridge, England in 1988 and transferred to Andersen’s Las Vegas office in 1994, where he was promoted to a Senior Manager in 1999. As well as managing the audits of some of the gaming industry’s major players, Ed was responsible for providing strategic development consulting to a wide range of enterprises, including operators, gaming associations and businesses contemplating entering the gaming industry. Ed also advised a number of his clients on major corporate transactions, including the acquisitions and divestments of businesses.
Ed qualified as a Chartered Accountant in England in 1991, having graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, First Class Honors in Spanish from the University of Durham, United Kingdom in1988.
