Bloomberry Resorts Corporation (PSE: BLOOM) develops, owns and operates resort entertainment destinations and related facilities and amenities.  The company holds one of four private gaming licenses in Entertainment City in Manila, Philippines and is the owner and operator of the Solaire Resort Manila.

Solaire Manila commenced commercial operations in March 2013 and currently boasts a 488-room luxury hotel, a casino with 295 table games and 1,400 electronic gaming machines, 9 food and beverage outlets, as well as the country’s largest ballroom, among other features.

The company is in the process of completing its first expansion of the Manila property, which is due to open in 4Q2014.  The property is being expanded with a 312 key all-suite luxury hotel, a 1,710-seat theatre capable of accommodating Broadway-style events, a high-end retail area, an expanded spa offering, a night club, karaoke facilities, additional meeting facilities, as well as additional gaming capacity (including 65 VIP tables and 250 slot machines).

Plans are underway to further expand Solaire Manila with additional lodging, retail, F&B, entertainment and gaming facilities.  The company is also exploring a variety of global investment opportunities to expand its integrated resort footprint around the world, including in Japan, among other jurisdictions.

Bloomberry is majority owned and controlled by Mr. Enrique K. Razon, a Filipino industrialist and entrepreneur who controls International Container Terminal Service, Inc. (ICTSI), owner and operator of 28 ports in 22 countries around the world, including Naha, Okinawa, Japan.
